Lexi Jourden is 6 years old and was born in Los Angeles. Lexi was a series regular on the ABC television sitcom "Sons & Daughters". Lexi played the youngest daughter, Marni Walker, in this part scripted/part improvisation series for ABC that came from Lorne Michaels.
How did Lexi get started in the biz?
In the fall of 2004 at the ripe old age of 3, Lexi made her debut in a national commercial for Life Cereal., directed by Oscar winning Director Jim Sheridan.
On the set when Jim asked her not to look at the camera, she did her next take with her eyes closed. And, she quickly learned to ask "are you rolling yet" before actually eating the cereal (50 spoonfuls of cereal for a kid who usually eats 5).
Her mom, Claudia, was sharing with somebody that Lexi was directed by Jim Sheridan who made such films as "In America" and "My Left Foot". After hearing this, Lexi then informed her Grandfather that her director, Jim, had directed "Mama’s Left Foot".
Enjoying her "career" (fun food on set, kids to play with, cool stuff to do), Lexi has gone on to shoot national commercials for "State Farm", "L.L. Bean", "American Airlines", "McDonalds", "Home Depot", "Juicy Juice", "Capital One", "Sony" and "Hallmark".
Lexi decided to branch out into voice-over work at the age of 4 booking her first voice-over job with her her real life mom, Claudia.
Lexi has been the voice in numerous radio commercials in addition to characters in the Disney Film "The Wild" (Baby Hippo), the Disney short "Bozzelbag's Zip" (Gertie) and is a recurring character on the cartoon Network series "Squirrel Boy" (Lulu). Lexi is one of the leads ("Candy") in the new Disney animated TV series "Babysitter Fighting Force".
